Is this trip officially open for booking?
The hosted departure has been selected for September 19-24, 2027. I'm currently building the group and collecting priority interest before finalizing reservations with Backroads. Guests who join the interest list will receive booking instructions and deposit information as soon as registration opens.
How much will the trip cost?
$6,499 per person based on double occupancy for a private group of 12 or more guests. Single accommodations are available for an additional supplement. Airfare and optional pre- or post-trip extensions are not included.
Deposit
A $1,000 per-person deposit is required by Backroads to confirm your reservation once booking opens. Final payment details and deadlines will be provided when registration begins.
How physically demanding is the trip?
Guests should be comfortable hiking 4–6 hours per day. Multiple route options are typically available to accommodate different activity levels.
Do I need to be an experienced hiker?
No. A reasonable level of fitness is recommended, but many guests participate because they enjoy walking, nature, and active travel—not because they're expert hikers.
